Testimonials

“The SHRM Club leadership has created a culture of inclusiveness where everyone has a voice and contributes to add value.  Meetings are always insightful and inspiring…there is alignment and synergy within the group and everyone matters and is valued.  It is a great group and platform to learn from.”

Bill Davis

Program Chair, Bachelor of Arts of Operations Management and Analysis (BAOMA) Forbes School of Business & Technology

“My new employer is very employee oriented. During the interview, he asked more questions about my SHRM Chapter membership and roles of President and Advisor than about my degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Management. He just purchased the business and wants a people-oriented manager to change the previous culture.”

Myke McCune

Founding Chapter President Forbes School of Business & Technology

“As a student of UAGC’s MHRM program, joining the SHRM student chapter made a lot of sense to me.  The chapter offers access to a strong network of peer learners, program alumni, HR faculty, and learning opportunities that helped me rebrand myself professionally and link up with people in the HR industry network.”

“The #1 question I receive from students and graduates pertains to how to gain experience in order to qualify for HR or leadership positions. The UAGC Forbes School of Business and Technology® SHRM Chapter is an excellent platform to gain and demonstrate practical experience. Current students are invited to apply for student officer positions where they will have unique, hands-on experience to showcase in a resume. They will also build a terrific network to gain credible letters of recommendation. Graduates have a platform to share their areas of expertise and gain presentation skills to build their portfolios.”
